As a pastor's wife with over 35 years of ministry experience, Bonnie Winters is involved in counseling, music and children's ministry. She has authored Bible studies, devotionals and articles on abuse and recovery, Christian Education ideas for children, drama and inspirational fiction.
She is a graduate of the Institute of Pastoral Counseling through Emerge Ministries, Akron, OH; Zion Bible College in Haverhill, MA and SUNY Empire State College, Binghamton NY Unit with a degree in adult learning and mentoring.
Besides writing, Bonnie enjoys her nine grandchildren and card making.
Bonnie began her writing with the dedication page in her College yearbook. After graduation, she ordered a writing correspondence course, but after only 5 lessons, she put it aside fearing she had nothing of value to say.
When she returned to college as an adult learner several years later, she rediscovered her love for writing through the research and writing assignments. Following her college graduation, she began to work for a small weekly newspaper in northern NY where she worked her way to the news editor position.
When Bonnie and her pastor husband moved to Indiana PA, she wrote her first book, Daughter of Lot, publishing it 5 years later. After seeing a video clip about the devastation of human trafficking, Bonnie began her second Bible novel about Rahab, promising the Lord that all the profits from this book would be donated to fight against trafficking.
Daughter of Scarlet has become a personal mission for Bonnie. Please consider purchasing Daughter of Scarlet to make a contribution to her projects which aid in the fight against human trafficking and the sex trade industry.
